LEADS EVERYDAY SALES TIPS TREBLED MY PROFITS

Bookings Soar For Dagenham Carpet Cleaner

Leads Everyday transformed a carpet cleaner’s business with a little coaching over his sales process. Before receiving our help, No More Dirt converted one in four new customer enquiries at a low average job value. But after boss Svajunas Kaminskas took our advice conversions rose to more than TWO IN THREE and the average order value nearly DOUBLED.

In April, Svajunas set up a carpet cleaning campaign with Leads Everyday, targeting Barking & Dagenham. He received 38 leads in his first month and converted ten of them, with an average job value of £55. But in May he booked 22 jobs from 35 leads and the average order value rose to £98.

What happened? Did he do a crash course that turned him into a sales star? Did he employ Kylie Minogue to answer the phone?

Leads Everyday transformed my businessBelieve it or not, all Svajunas did was make one phone call.

And what he did during that call was, in his words “the smartest thing I’ve done for my business”.

What did he do? He LISTENED to Leads Everyday Sales Manager Sam Chant.

Svajunas says: “Sam asked me to explain what I did when I received a call and when I’d explained my process he told me what I should be doing and it did seem to make sense so I decided to give it a go. It’s the best thing I ever did for my business.”

Don’t Quote Over The Phone

Sam explained the process that Leads Everyday’s most successful customers use to convert new carpet cleaning leads into new business.

The golden rule for carpet cleaners is – don’t quote over the phone.

Before he spoke to Sam, Svajunas was giving prices over the phone. If someone rang up asking how much it would cost to clean one carpet, he’d tell them. They’d thank him very much, ring off – and he wouldn’t hear any more.

Cleaning Leads from Leads Every DayWere they ringing carpet cleaner No2 on their list asking if he would do the job for ten pence less?

Svajunas says: “Sam explained that it was all about getting in front of the customer and building a relationship. Yes, I could clean one carpet – but don’t you need that one doing as well? Howabout if I do them both and the stairs with a discount for having them all done at once?

“Sam said that he understood it meant taking more time on each individual enquiry – but look at how much it has paid off.”

After three months with Leads Everyday, Svajunas took on a second campaign in a new area, Havering, increasing his profits again.

Expert Tip Of The Week

You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make it drink! Leads Everyday generates 50,000 live customer contacts every month to UK businesses – but only YOU can turn these enquiries into business. We ask our most successful partners their secrets. This tip is from carpet cleaner Haydon Hudson, of First Impressions Cleaning, Swindon, Wilts.

Once you’ve obtained enough information about the condition of their carpets or upholstery, tell the client your cleaning process – let them know what to expect. Let them know why you do certain processes. STAND OUT FROM THE COMPETITION. Explain to them what they are paying for, make them feel like they are getting good value for money.
